WOODEN RACE CARS

MATERIALS

  • 2×2” Spruce cut to 4” length (2)
  • Furniture Nails (4)
  • #8 x 9/16” Lath Truss Head Screws (4)
  • 3/8” x 1-1/4” Fender Washers (4)
  • 1/4” x 1” Fender Washers (4)
  • Note: Experiment with a variety of hardware to create different wheels!
     

TOOLS

  • Hammer
  • #2 Phillips Screw Driver
  • Markers
     

DIRECTIONS

  1. Color your car with racing stripes, racing numbers, decals, etc. Be creative! 
  2. Using the washers as “wheels,” fasten the washers in place using the furniture nails and/or screws.
  3. Ready, set, RACE!
