From January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2022 Saskatchewan homeowners are eligible to claim up to $9,000 of qualified home renovation expenses on your 2022 tax return.
The renovation or work must be substantially completed by
December 31, 2022.
Some of the qualifying expenses include;
- Bathroom renovations
- Windows and doors
- New flooring
- Painting (interior or exterior)
- Building an addition; deck, garage, fence or shed
